Christie’s previews a private collection of Buddhist art in Hong Kong

Christie’s has announced “Awakening Wisdom,” a single-owner auction of Buddhist painting and sculpture in Hong Kong on 30 October 2026. The lead work is catalogued as a 93 cm gilt-copper Manjushri from the 12th century. Taipei previews run 17–18 October and Hong Kong previews 22–28 October; all dates remain subject to change. Catalogue descriptions are the auction house’s attribution, not OACA authentication.
